PATRICIA PAYNE ART EXHIBITION
At Lafayette Jefferson High School, Patricia Payne used her study hall time to go to the art room making posters. Patricia graduated from Ball State University in 1956 with a degree in art education. She also studied calligraphy at Purdue University.
Patricia is a Central Indiana Writers’ Association member as well as her memberships in the Calligraphy Guild of Indiana, Hoosier Salon, and the Watercolor Society of Indiana and the Southside Art League.
A multitude of watercolor and acrylic painting will make up a bulk of the exhibition, though she also includes binders filled with more than 50 years of calligraphy in the exhibition.

When the group meets, it is open to whoever chooses to come. The meeting is open to enthusiasts and new poets just learning their craft. Indiana Poet, Mary Godsey leads the meeting. She has a great love of poetry and enjoys meeting new poets. She encourages everyone to bring their work to read and to hear comments from other poets.
