Our goal is to provide an atmosphere of nurturing and encouragement for those who wish to hone their writing skills. We\u2019re a friendly, informal group of people, and you will be comfortable on your first visit. We keep growing\u00a0<span class=\"yiv8945215903\">better, and stronger,<\/span>\u00a0because of the members of CIWA!<\/p>\n<div class=\"yiv8945215903\"><span class=\"yiv8945215903\">Our members are novelists, poets, and essayists writing in various genres.\u00a0Monthly meetings provide our members with a host of different activities, including guest speakers, local authors, award-winning poets, and writing tutors.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"yiv8945215903\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"yiv8945215903\"><span class=\"yiv8945215903\">Our monthly newsletter,\u00a0<i class=\"yiv8945215903\">Communiqu\u00e9<\/i>, provides our members with information regarding writing opportunities, other contest events,\u00a0and a vehicle\u00a0to offer possible publication for their writing.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"yiv8945215903\"><span class=\"yiv8945215903\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"yiv8945215903\">\n<p>And while CIWA encourages every writer to continue writing,\u00a0we do not support\u00a0any form of\u00a0pornography, erotica, or BDSM\u00a0writing.
